Male to Female - Secondary Genital Reconstruction

This 35 year old male to female transsexual underwent creation of more defined labia minora and clitoral hood.

A) Preoperation.
B) Postoperation at 6 weeks

This 45 year old male to female transsexual underwent W-plasty to eliminate the concavity in the pubic area, creation of a more defined clitoral hood, creation of labia minora, movement of her urinary opening more into her vagina, removal of extra spongy tissue around her urethra that engorged during sexual stimulation, and elimination of the lip at the bottom of her vaginal entrance.

A) Preoperation.
B) Postoperation at 6 weeks
C) Postoperation with the vagina open.

1. This 31 year old patient underwent sexual reassignment surgery in
1987 in Europe.
A. Preoperation
B. Postoperation (8 months). She underwent creation of a clitoral hood
to cover her large clitoris, formation of labia minora, fat
redistribution to eliminate a suprapubic concavity, and movement of her
urethra into the vagina to a more normal location.

This 37 year old patient underwent sexual reassignment surgery in
1980 in the Midwest and a revision by another physician in the U.S. in
1998.
A. Preoperation
B. Postoperation (6 months). She underwent lowering of her clitoral
hood with revision of her labia minora, fat injections into her labia
majora to increase bulk, fat redistribution to eliminate a suprapubic
concavity, movement of the urethra into the vagina to a more normal
location, and revision of her pseudoclitoris.
