Overview
Suffering from a variety of ailments, including chronic joint and muscle pain, erectile dysfunction, female genital discomfort, and chronic open wounds, including chronic diabetic foot ulcers.
Our revolutionary TRT OrthoGold 100™ and TRT UroGold 100™ SoftWave® machine is a non-invasive solution for a variety of ailments. It is the most effective acoustic shockwave machine available in the United States and has been used for most of the studies showing the efficacy of shockwave technology.
Using low-intensity, acoustic shockwaves, the TRT OrthoGold 100™ and TRT UroGold 100™, when applied to an area of damaged tissues, stimulates stem cells to divide and release exosomes and healing factors. SoftWave™ therapy has successfully led to pain relief, new vessel formation, regeneration of nerve fibers, and collagen production.
Procedure
Orthopedic treatments usually only require three treatments, each separated by a week. When treating orthopedic injuries, SoftWave™ therapy may result in some pain or discomfort, especially when the injured area is identified. This pain is fleeting and is actually evidence that the treatment is working.
Most patients report some immediate pain relief and improvement, which is a good indicator of the therapy’s success. Treatment’s full benefit won’t be apparent until the healing process is complete, which takes eight to twelve weeks.
It is very important to avoid overuse shortly after treatment, because the immediate reduction of pain does not mean that the tissue has completely healed. It is expected that at least 80% of the patients become 100% pain free at 12 weeks, but this varies from situation to situation.
Post-Treatment Care
It’s normal to feel a little tired after treatment. You may want to plan to take it easy for a few hours post-treatment and plan on having someone drive you home, especially if it’s your first time.
A mild tingling sensation in the treated area is pretty common and can last a few days. This is a positive sign that the treatment is having the intended effect.
